The 25th of March, aside from celebrating Earth Hour 60. It was my niece turn to cook our lunch and dinner, being a Saturday. It was her work from home day off. She is unable to do something else if she has work schedule. Sometimes she has impromptu online meeting.
I was teasing her. It is was Earth Hour so we need to eat something coming from nature. We both cackled at my corny joke. She prepared Garlic Broccoli and Baked Tuna Steak. Sharing again, another recipe. I already shared recipe for Garlic Broccoli. This time, it is Baked Tuna Steak.
Ingredients
Tuna steak
1 lemon, half in slice and half juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Thyme
Basil
Procedure
- In a bowl combine tuna, olive oil, tuna, lemon juice and herbs. Marinade for 15 minutes.
- Pre-heat oven 200 degrees Celsius.
- Place tuna in a sheet foil, spoon marinade on the steaks.
- Place lemons around tuna steaks.
- Bake for 6 minutes, then flip steaks. Spoon more marinade and cook for another 6 minutes.
Enjoy! π
Yum! It reminds me of my favourite lunch in the old days when I was in one uni in QC. Only instead of tuna, they used blue marlin! Melon juice panghimagas mmm
